I chose the flamingo to be Makaya, because she's a people person; and that's one of the definitions for a flamingo.
The dolphin, is for another friend of mine Micki. I chose the dolphin because of its capable of deep emotion trait.
The Fox represents me, because of its wildness; some people say I'm pretty crazy.
After that is the hawk, I chose this for its victory and guardianship. My brother is kind of like the hawk, for his victoriousness and labor.
My sister is the cougar, because she takes responsibility for her actions (most of the time).
The Coyote represents my dad, because he's a trickster. He likes to make jokes, scare people, and trick you.
Lastly, the bear represents my mom. She teaches and I think she's pretty good at it.

There were problems with staying within the lines, but I think I pulled through. Since my piece is pretty detailed, it was hard to paint with a medium sized brush. I didn't intend it to be a very detailed piece, but I think it still looks good. Another problem was with spacing my animals evenly. In the finished piece I had to draw a paw. I thought it was the best choice to fill in the spaces. So with that problem it wasn't really hard to find an idea. I didn't wan to have to put another animal in, because I thought it would be too much.

Altogether, I think I did pretty well even though I know I could do better. I could say that there are some things that could be fixed, but I took a little longer than I planned to. In addition my piece IS finished, and is presentable.
